President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of Switzerland Alain Berset

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset on the National Day.

President Khachaturyan's message reads: "Armenia attaches importance to the consistent development of relations with Switzerland based on mutual respect and trust and is ready to further expand the established interstate political dialogue.

I am confident that in the context of the current geopolitical challenges facing Armenia, regular high-level contacts gain greater importance both on bilateral and global levels.
I highly appreciate the projects implemented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Armenia and the expansion of their scope including the support provided to border communities.

I am pleased to note that there is effective cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland in the economic, scientific, educational, cultural spheres among others.

I am confident that through joint efforts, we will give a new impetus to the deepening of Armenian-Swiss ties through exercising the full potential of multi-sector cooperation."
