President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory letter to President of France Emmanuel Macron

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron on the National Day.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s message reads:

"On July 14, 1789, the ideas of freedom, equality and fraternity outlined by the French people have become universal values that inspired the Armenian people among others to advance on the path of democracy and the rule of rights.

The continuously expanding pre-eminent relations and effective cooperation between Armenia and France both on bilateral and international platforms are based on the commitment to those values and the long-standing strong friendship uniting our peoples.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, I express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional solidarity shown by the French society to the Armenian people and for always being by our side in this difficult period full of challenges for our homeland and people.

Armenia highly values your personal commitment and consistent efforts aimed at the fair solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict ensuring the right of the Armenian people to live safely and dignified in its historical lands, and establishing peace in our region."
