President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of Georgia Salome Zurabichvili

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of Georgia Salome Zurabichvili on national holiday – State Independence Restoration Day.

President Khachaturyan's message reads:

"105 years ago, the people of Georgia decided to create an independent state and presently they continue their unwavering path towards building a democratic and prosperous country.

Armenia attaches great importance to warm neighborly relations with Georgia based on mutual trust and respect as well as close cultural and historical ties between the two peoples.

I am pleased to note that the high-level political dialogue and regular communication convey notable dynamics to the expansion and enhancement of the existing cooperation.

I am convinced that with joint efforts we will contribute to the consistent strengthening and development of the relations between our countries."
