President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the President of India Draupadi Murmu

President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of India Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of the 75-th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of India.

The message says:

“My warmest congratulations to you and the people of India on the National Holiday of India – the 75-th anniversary of independence. During these years India has achieved great success, building a democratic country, recording achievements in economics, science and other fields.

Our peoples are bound with centuries-old close friendship and mutual respect, as well as loyalty to the principles of freedom and justice.

India continues to be a reliable partner for Armenia in the international arena.

I am full of hope that with joint efforts we will raise bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
