President Vahagn khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to Governor General of Canada Mary Simon on the occasion of Canada Day.

“During the 30 years of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Canada, we managed to establish friendly relations and cooperation based on common values, mutual respect and trust.

Armenia's recent progress towards democracy and the determination to continue democratic reforms open up new prospects for cooperation between our countries.
Armenia greatly values Canada’s support and welcomes the publishing of the report of the Special Envoy of Canada to EU and Europe, “Supporting Armenian Democracy”.

I am sure that with joint efforts we will expand and deepen the bilateral cooperation.”
