President Vahagn Khachatutryan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Switzerland.

The message of President Vahagn Khachaturyan particularly says:

“The bilateral interstate relations established since the restoration of Armenia's independent statehood are a solid foundation for the further development of the centuries-old friendship of our peoples, based on common values and mutual respect.

The high-level political dialogue, cooperation in the economic, cultural scientific and educational fields formed between Armenia and Switzerland over three decades are expanding, being supplemented with new initiatives and making significant progress.

The 30-year anniversary is an important milestone to evaluate the past and outline the future prospects of the partnership.

I am sure that it will manifest a new beginning of deepening Armenian-Swiss relations and discovering wider opportunities for interaction for the benefit of our peoples."
