On the occasion of the national holiday of the Russian Federation - Russia Day, President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The message reads:
“Distinguished Mr. President,
Please accept my warm congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Russian Federation – Russia Day. This momentous day has become a turning point in the history of the country. It is closely related to the profound changes aimed at enhancing the prosperity of the citizens of Russia.
I note with satisfaction that strategic partnership between Armenia and Russia, allied relations, which are based on the centuries-long brotherly ties of our peoples, strengthens steadfastly and encompasses the entire spectrum of our cooperation in the political, economic, military, and humanitarian areas. The high level of trust between our countries and peoples has always been and will continue to be the base of our strategic partnership.
Today, deepening of our relations in the regional economic programs acquires great importance, in particular the increase of the number of programs in the areas of high technologies, artificial intelligence and innovations, food security, as well as cultural, humanitarian and educational programs.
I wish you, Distinguished Mr. President, excellent health and success, as well as peace, happiness and prosperity to the brotherly people of Russia.
I sincerely believe that Russia will successfully overcome difficulties created by the coronavirus pandemic and will continue to move steadily up the road toward development and advancement.”
