President Armen Sarkissian sent congratulatory message to the King of Jordan on the occasion of Independence Day

On the occasion of the national holiday – Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II.

The message reads in particular, “I highly value recent positive developments in the Armenian-Jordanian relations. I recall warmly your historic visit to Armenia, conducted at the beginning of this year, which reaffirmed the existing constructive dialogue between our countries and presented new prospects for a multifaceted cooperation. Your visit testified to the historically formed warm friendship between our peoples in which the Armenian-Jordanian community has its considerable role.

Today, conditioned by the crisis created by the coronavirus pandemic, I attach importance of our interaction also in overcoming its consequences.”

President Sarkissian wished Abdullah II excellent health and success as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Jordan.
