President Armen Sarkissian is receiving congratulatory messages on the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov conveyed congratulations to President Sarkissian and the Armenian people and noted in particular, “On this glorious day, we remember with special gratitude and pride our common heroes who demonstrated valor and courage in the heavy battles, and pay our deepest respect to those who were working in the rear, who shaped the Great Victory for the peaceful life of future generations. I am confident that traditions of friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples in the future too, will serve a strong base for the development and strengthening of our cooperation.”
President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon noted in particular in his message, “Our victory was created because of the valor, heroism, unity, and dedicated efforts of all peoples of the Soviet Union in the fight against the enemy. We remember all those who were shaping our victory on the battlefields and in the rear and are proud of their invaluable courage and heroism.”
The President of Moldova Igor Dodon noted that the Great Victory Day is a special day for our countries because it is a symbol of honor and courage of the Soviet people. “Today, because of the coronavirus pandemic we understand how fragile the world is. Thus, the nations, which won in that cruel war, should unite to overcome this menace of our times. I am confident that the veterans, who went through the flames of the war, through their work and tenacity are helping us face this challenge with dignity and overcome it.”
