President Armen Sarkissian congratulated President of Israel on the occasion of National holiday: I view as important a continuous cooperation between Armenia and Israel

On the occasion of the National holiday of the State of Israel, President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin.

“I recall warmly our meeting at the beginning of this year, which presented an excellent opportunity to speak out loud about the destinies and historical similarities of the Armenian and Jewish peoples. It was also an exceptional opportunity to discuss the prospects of the expansion and strengthening of cooperation between our countries. I attach the utmost importance to a direct and ongoing dialogue between Armenian and Israel also in crisis situations, especially today when the entire human kind is working together to overcome challenges posed by the pandemic. I am glad that during our recent substantial phone conversation, we also spoke about the exchange of experience and data as well as mutual assistance.

I am confident that a consistent implementation of the reached agreements will provide a new quality to the partnership relations between Armenia and Israel for the benefit of our peoples,” message of the President of Armenia reads in particular.
