President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory letter to the Emperor of Japan Naruhito on the occasion of Japan’s National holiday.

The Presidential letter reads in particular:

“I was greatly honored to be present at the symbolic ceremony of Your Majesty’s enthronement. I am hopeful that success registered in Armenia-Japan interstate relations and cooperation based on mutual respect will continue to deepen and strengthen. I wish You and the Royal Family good health and success as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Japan.”
