President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to the President-elect of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits on his election as President of Latvia.

The President of Armenia underscored that Armenia views as important the deepening of the cooperation with the friendly Latvia at the bilateral and multilateral levels. “I am confident that the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement signed between Armenia and the European Union will open new opportunities for a further development of the relations between our countries,” Armen Sarkissian noted in his message.

The President of Armenia wished Egils Levits good health and all the best, as well as prosperity to the people of Latvia.
