President Armen Sarkissian received a congratulatory message from the UN Secretary General

On the occasion of assuming office of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian received a congratulatory message from the Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres.

The message states:
“Excellency,
I would like to extend to you my congratulations and best wishes on your election as President of the Republic of Armenia.
I look forward to working closely with you, including through the United Nations Resident Coordinator and the United Nations Country Team in Armenia, on matters of mutual interest to the Republic of Armenia and the United Nations.
The United Nations continues to count on the support and commitment of Armenia to jointly address global challenges, particularly in the areas of peace and security and sustainable development.
