President sends congratulatory message to President of China Xi Jinping

President of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on his reelection as Secretary-General, wishing him robust health, happiness and every success in his work for the best interest of the friendly Chinese people.

“On behalf of the Republican Party of Armenia and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and convey to you my best wishes on your re-election to the post of Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

I am confident that during your next term in office, the leading role of the Communist Party of China will continue to promote China’s sustainable political and socio-economic development and enhance your country’s growing authority in the world.

Armenia attaches special importance to the furtherance and strengthening of the traditionally friendly relations with China. I am convinced that the gradual increase in bilateral relations and diversified exchanges, as well as our effective cooperation in the international arena stem from the vital interests of our friendly countries and peoples.

I want to note that the Republican Party of Armenia regards the Chinese Communist Party as a prioritized international partner and will step up efforts towards the dynamic development and deepening of Armenian-Chinese cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.

We are prepared to contribute to the One Zone, One Way program as proposed by you, considering it as a multifunctional project meant to ensure security, peace and prosperity for the countries and peoples participating in it.

I hope that in the near future we will have an opportunity to discuss face to face issues of deepening Armenian-Chinese inter-party and interstate relations, as well as strengthening cooperation in the international arena in a bid to raise them to an even higher level,” the President of Armenia said in his congratulatory message.
