President congratulates Austrian People’s Party on victory in parliamentary elections

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Austrian People’s Party leader Sebastian Kurz on victory in legislative elections.

“Austria is an important partner for Armenia. The continuous development of relations with your country is of primary importance to us. The past 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries have been marked by mutual respect and trust in Armenian-Austrian bilateral relations.

We are grateful that Austria has been supporting us all the way through these years, making a significant contribution to Armenia’s sustainable development,” the President of Armenia said in his congratulatory message.

President Sargsyan attached great importance to the fostering and consistent expansion of ties between the Republican Party of Armenia, which adheres to the European People’s Party, and the Austrian People’s Party.
