President Serzh Sargsyan sends congratulatory message to Iosif Kobzon

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture; People’s Artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon on his 80th birth anniversary.

They have ushered in an entire era, the contemporaries of which we are.

Your creativity helps people overcome the boundaries that divide them artificially. Your stage activity is a real benchmark for beginning stage singers.

Your artistic work is loved and highly appreciated in Armenia, with which you are bound by strong and sincere ties of friendship. Your creative union with such well-known sons of the Armenian people as Arno Babajanyan, Georgy Garanyan, Konstantin Orbelyan, Mikael Tariverdiyev, Alexei Hekimyan and many others gave life to numerous musical compositions popular elsewhere where the Russian speech sounds.
