President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 55th birth anniversary of the National Hero Movses Gorgisian.

The message reads:

“The llife and political activities of Movses Gorgisian present an exceptional example of dedication to the freedom and independence of Fatherland. His enthusiastic nature, unyielding stance on the principled issues, ability to engage people with high ideals and make them follow are inherent to only few people.

He knew precisely well what could not be tolerated and what was worth of showing courage. He showed courage, made every sacrifice and went up to the end. Only true heroes can go up to the end, with no reservations.

Happy birthday, dear Movses Gorgisian. Today we repeat your motto about the country of our dream: “Long live Armenia which will come tomorrow!”
