President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory letter to the Research Manager of the Nuclear Reactions Laboratory of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Academician of the RF Academy of Sciences Yuri Hovhannissian after the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics have announced that one of the four newly discovered chemical elements will be named Oganesson in honor of Yuri Hovhannissian.
