President sent a congratulatory message to Vazgen Manukian on the occasion of his jubilee

 President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Public Council Vazgen Manukian on his 70th birth anniversary.

“As one of the devoted organizers of the Karabakh movement, you have brought the invaluable contribution to the restoration of the Armenian independent statehood and liberation of Artsakh. Your best qualities of a national and state figure in the difficult and fateful years of our newly independent state manifested themselves when you served as the Prime Minister of the Republic and Minister of Defense.

Today, with the same dedication you continue to serve Armenia and the Armenian people heading the Public Council. You have assumed duties of the founding leader of this important body, searching for the ways to establish public accord and overcome potential internal disagreements.

I am confident that under your leadership, the Public Council will continue to be an important platform for a dialogue between Armenia’s state, private and public sectors.
I wish you good health, happiness and perpetual energy in your patriotic work,” reads the congratulatory message of the President of Armenia.
