President Serzh Sargsyan’s congratulatory message to Armenia’s Yazidi community on New Year – Malake Taus

Dear representatives of the Yazidi community of Armenia,

I cordially congratulate you on New Year – Malake Taus. The Armenian and Yazidi peoples’ sincere friendship has passed through a joint struggle against a long period of time and general calamities and has been strengthened with peaceful and creative work and shared achievements.

The last year was difficult for numerous Yazidis living in the Middle East, and they still continue to experience hardships. Be confident that we are standing beside you in this difficult situation and you can expect our support in the future.

Malake Taus brings with it new hopes and dreams, thus I wish our region to be peaceful and safe in the new year and the severe hardships to remain in the past.
