President Serzh Sargsyan sends congratulatory message to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras

President Serzh Sargsyan today sent a congratulatory message to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on his party’s victory in Greek parliamentary elections and his appointment as Prime Minister of Greece.

“I am confident that under your leadership, the friendly country of Greece will increase and strengthen its international role in the coming years.

The relationship and cooperation between Armenia and Greece are rooted in our peoples’ brotherly ties, mutual assistance and trust. I am hopeful that as a prime minister of Greece you will be committed to enhancing the high-level interstate relationship between Armenia and Greece, and that we will make concerted efforts to broaden our rich cooperation agenda for the well-being of our countries and peoples,” reads the RA President’s congratulatory message.
