President sends congratulatory message to Donald Tusk on his election as European Council President

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Polish Prime Minister, European Council President-elect Donald Tusk, “Dear Mr. Tusk, I warmly congratulate you on your election to the high office of President of the European Council, I wish you every success in your important mission, which I believe will be fruitful for both EU-member States and neighboring and partner countries.

We are eager to see the furtherance of Armenia’s relations with our important partner – the European Union - during your tenure with new horizons available for cooperation. I wish to reaffirm the Armenia’s commitment to keeping up the pace of common values-based comprehensive cooperation with the European Union under the Eastern Partnership Program.

I am confident that the ongoing constructive dialogue and the dynamically developing Armenian-Polish relations will have a positive impact on EU-Armenia cooperation,” the President’s message says.
