Congratulatory address by President Serzh Sargsyan on Prosecutor’s Office Worker Day

Honorable prosecutors,
Dear workers of the prosecutor’s office,

I heartily congratulate you on the occasion of Prosecutor’s Office Worker Day.

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia has covered a long road, and today it has embarked on the path of modernization. I would like to note with satisfaction that you yourselves reveal the deficiencies and drawbacks of the system and speak out for eliminating them.

The prosecutor’s office is recruited by intelligent and skillful young lawyers endowed with modern thinking who utilize the experience and skills of the elder generation to carry out the prosecutor’s powers enshrined in the Constitution and to successfully respond to the present-day challenges.

You should keep on improving your competence in thwarting crime, protecting human rights, reinforcing democratic values and fighting against corruption.

I am sure that you will manage to deal with today’s complex and difficult issues by means of adhering to your principles and maintaining professional dignity, as well as using the accumulated experience and developing new approaches to the organization of work.
