President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Armenia’s State Engineering University - Politechnik

“As one of the most prestigious educational institutions of our Republic and the leader of the higher technical education, the ASEU and its branches through the years of their existence have been sending tens of thousands of its graduates to work in different areas of our economy. It is pleasing that the knowledge and potential of the faculty, specialists and graduates of Politechnik today too continue to be in high demand.

Despite the hardships of the previous years, Politechnik has been able to preserve its unique place in the higher education system of Armenia. Currently, among Armenia’s pressing issues is the necessity to keep up with times and be aware of the modern technical achievements. Today, we should be able to make technical innovations from different parts of the world accessible and affordable for our people.

I once again congratulate you, dear Politechnikans, with this momentous jubilee. I wish you new success and achievements in the area of education as well as scientific achievements. I am confident that your potential and professional skills will always be in high demand and will find their deserved application in life,” reads the letter of the President of Armenia.
