Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory letter to Michel Legrand on the occasion of his 80th birth anniversary
President Serzh Sargsyan today sent a congratulatory letter to the Holder of the RA Order of Honor Michel Legrand on the occasion of his 80th birth anniversary.
The letter states,
“Dear Maestro Legrand,
I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of your 80th birth anniversary. You have made a great contribution to the development of the contemporary music, and your pieces are being performed all over the world. Thanks to the bright individualities such as yourself, relations between your two motherlands – Armenia and France – have become even stronger.
I recall with special warmth our meeting in September, 2009 in Yerevan. I am confident, that we will have new meeting in the future as well, especially in Yerevan because the Armenian nation loves you and is proud of you.
I once again congratulate you on your jubilee and wish you good health and boundless vigor.”
The letter states,
