President Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the famous composer Alexander Harutyunian on the occasion of his 90th jubilee

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the famous composer, People’s Artist of Armenia and USSR, laureate of state awards Alexander Harutyunian on the occasion of his 90th jubilee.

The Presidential message states:

“I am happy to salute you – a celebrated composer and a great Armenian whose estimable achievements have opened new horizons for the development of our culture and its international recognition.

Your impressive biography found its place in the records of the Armenian musical art long ago becoming one of its brightest pages. I am confident that your creative work, which brought you popular acclaim, will become a guiding star for the true art devotees. For more than 70 years through your artistic works you have proved on many occasions that Art is your highest criterion in life, while the highest criterion in life is perfection.

Today we are overwhelmed with pride and address words of gratitude to the great artist, distinguished personality of the Armenian culture whose individuality is the best example for his followers.

Dear Mr. Harutyunian,

I once again congratulate you on your jubilee and wish you good health and the bliss of enjoying appreciation earned by your entire life".
