Congratulatory Address by President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Knowledge Day
Dear Schoolchildren, Teachers and Parents,
I congratulate you on the occasion of Knowledge Day.
Every state and every nation strives to get stronger. In our case, when we say “stronger”, we first of all think in terms of knowledge. When we state that people is our greatest resource we think of a modern, well-educated, hard working and patriotic person, who is driving forward country’s economy, science, culture and army, every sphere of public life. That very person is our greatest wealth, and our school is called upon to shape such persons. While in some countries the greatest wealth is extracted from the mines, our mines and our gold veins are our schools and social milieu which shapes future citizens.
I wish you all very productive year, which will bring new achievements for the schoolchildren and students, teachers and lectors.
