Congratulatory address by President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Yerevan Day
Dear Yerevaniens,
Dear Compatriots,
I congratulate all of us with the Yerevan Day.
This year’s celebration is even more festive because we are celebrating the 2790th Anniversary of Yerevan.
Indeed, only a few capitals of the world have a millennia long biography behind them, a biography which is today being written in the spirit and logic of progress. This fact compels all of us to continue to work for the further development of Yerevan, for the Yerevaniens, for all those for whom Yerevan is a symbol of the national awakening.
Once again congratulating all of us on the occasion of this holiday, I wish our capital great prosperity and I wish the residents of our capital a festive mood and all the best.
