President Sarkissian expressed condolences on the death of the legendary football player Sarkis Hovivian

One of our teenage years and youth idols, a legendary football player, USSR Master of Sports, Distinguished Coach of Soviet Armenia Sarkis Hovivian has died.

He was one of the best in the history of the Armenian football, among the first of the legendary athletes, one of the most unique among the forwards.

Sarkis Hovivian made a great contribution to the development of the Armenia football both as a player and as a coach.

I bow to the talent and memory of Sarkis Hovivian.

I express my condolences to his family and friends and share their grief.
