President Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences on the demise of Demetris Christofias

President Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades on the demise of the former President Demetris Christofias.

President Sarkissian noted that the contribution of Demetris Christofias to the modern history of Cyprus is great: He was a wise leader of the friendly Cypriot nation and a devoted son of his nation.

“The contribution of Demetris Christofias to the deepening and strengthening of the brotherly Armenian-Cypriot relations is highly revered. The bright memory of the friend of the Armenian people will always stay in our hearts. Please accept my deep condolences and pass on words of sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Demetris Christofias,” reads the letter of condolences of the President of Armenia.
