President Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the famous Russian author, Honorary Citizen of Yerevan Andrey Bitov.

“Armenia has lost one of her most dedicated, trusted and dear friends. Andrey Bitov rightfully enjoyed sincere respect and affection of the Armenian nation.

I express condolences to the family and friends of Andrey Bitov, his readers and admirers of his talent.

He left this world but his books, which give people friendship, love, and kindness, stay with us,” reads the letter of condolences of the President of Armenia.
