President offers condolences on passing of Vera Hakobyan

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the Hakobyan family on the demise of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia Vera Hakobyan. The President expressed condolences to the family, relatives, friends and colleagues of the beloved artist.

“I was deeply grieved to learn of the passing of renowned TV moderator, elocutionist, Honored Artist of Armenia Vera Hakobyan. Having made a remarkable contribution to the development of the Armenian radio, Vera Hakobyan was deservingly popular among radio listeners. As an elocutionist, for many years she presented the gems of Armenian poetry from the stages of Armenia and Diaspora,” the President’s condolence message reads.
