President sends condolence letter on Murad Muradyan’s demise

President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a letter of condolence to the Muradyans on the occasion of the demise of the eminent statesman Murad Muradyan, former Yerevan mayor and Honorary Citizen of Yerevan and Gyumri.

“With his long activities, Murad Muradyan made a great contribution to the prosperity of our country, particularly Yerevan and Gyumri, and was awarded high state decorations.

He continued his patriotic activities during the independence of Armenia, and was the chairman of the RA Presidential Commission on Pardons for many years.

I express my deepest sympathy to the well-known figure’s family, relatives and friends,” reads the RA President’s condolence letter.
