President Serzh Sargsyan offers condolence remarks on passing away of Seryozha Avetisyan – offspring of family murdered in Gyumri

We could not manage to save little Seryozha’s life. Despite of the boundless efforts made by the Armenian and Russian doctors, we lost him. The light, which was our last consolation after the Gyumri crime, went off; the light which allowed us to at least somehow fill up the unrecoverable. Alas, nothing came of it, despite every efforts, nothing came of it.

I express my condolences to the relatives of the Avetisyans, all the people of Gyumri and our entire people. Yes, no words of sympathy will help ease our sorrow and return what was lost, but we must endure. We must continue to live and ensure just retribution for all these pains and this crime.
