President sends telegram of condolence on Hovhannes Barseghyan’s demise

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence to the Barseghyans on the occasion of the eminent linguist and pedagogue, Doctor of Philology, professor Hovhannes Barseghyan’s demise.

“Hovhannes Barseghyan was one of our elder generation’s devoted specialists of the Armenian language who for decades made a valuable contribution to both the research of the Armenian language and the training of qualified native language specialists.

I extend my deepest condolences to the merited linguist’s family, relatives, friends and colleagues,” reads the RA President’s telegram of condolence.
