President sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the eminent astrophysicist Grigor Gurzadyan

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the eminent astrophysicist, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia Grigor Gurzadyan. The letter of condolences sent to the Gurzadyans particularly says, “The scholar who immigrated from the Diaspora, received his education in the homeland and was recognized world-wide, spent all his life on the development of a specific branch of science, led scientific centers and worked out cosmic systems.

The highly-gifted scholar was also endowed with the talents of a philosopher, a writer and a painter, talents which were manifested in his popular scientific essays and colorful paintings.

I express my deepest condolences to Grigor Gurzadyan’s relatives, colleagues and intimate friends.”
