President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades on demise of the former President of Cyprus Glafcos Clerides.

Serzh Sargsyan hailed contribution and dedicate service of the great Cypriot and patriot to the strengthening of statehood of Cyprus, stabilization and advancement of the country’s social and economic life as well as his personal input in the development and expansion of the centuries-long Armenian-Cypriot friendship, his considerate attitude towards the Armenian community of Cyprus. “Our prayers are with the Clerides family and the brotherly people of Cyprus,” reads the letter of condolences of the President of Armenia.
