President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences on demise of Sos Sarkissian

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences on demise of the RA and USSR People’s Artist Sos Sarkissian. The Presidential letter addressed to the family, colleagues and art lovers reads, “We are grieving deeply. We have lost a great actor, a great intellectual, and a great Armenian.

Sos Sarkissian’s presence in our art and public life was significant. His conduct and posture were making us all kinder, more honest, and better. The roles he played constitute an entire epoch in the history of our theater and cinema art.

I express my deep condolences to the family, colleagues and lovers of Sos Sarkissian’s art which eventually means our entire nation. This is an irreversible and all-national loss.”
