President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the composer Edward Mirzoayn

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the Mirzoyan family on the demise of the composer Edward Mirzoayn.

The letter states:

”I learned with great sorrow the news on the demise of the renowned composer, USSR and RA People’s Artist, Knight of the Order of Saint Mesrop Mashtots and Order of Honor, professor Edward Mirzoyan.

The highly artistic music of Edward Mirzoyan, which is filled with dazzling humanism and optimism, is one of the best manifestations of the creative spirit of the Armenian people. It reflects the beauty of Armenia and the best qualities of the Armenian nation.

The great personality of the Armenian music will remain in the memory of his compatriots also as an outstanding public figure and a distinguished pedagogue.

I convey my deepest sympathies to the Mirzoyan family, his friends and thousands admirers of his music.”
