President Serzh Sargsyan sent a message of condolences to the President of Turkey Abdullah Gül
President Serzh Sargsyan continues his state visit to the Russian Federation according to the program.
From Moscow, President Serzh Sargsyan sent an express telegram of condolences to the President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul on the earthquake which took place on the territory of Turkey.
The telegram states:
“Distinguished Mr. President,
I was saddened to learn the news about the loss of human lives, devastation, and people buried under debris that resulted from the earthquake in Van. I am deeply upset by this calamity, express my condolences and would like to inform You that a specialized group of the Armenian rescuers stands ready to arrive at the epicenter and instantly to proceed with the rescue works.”
