President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of Cyprus
The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of Cyprus on the occasion of passing away of former President of Cyprus, Tassos Papadopoulos.
The letter states:
“Mr. President,
I learned the news on passing away of former President of Cyprus Tassos Papadopoulos with great sorrow.
The contribution of Tassos Papadopoulos to the modern history of Cyprus is invaluable – he was a wise leader of the friendly Cypriot people and a devoted son of his Motherland. He also had a great role in the strengthening and further deepening of the brotherly relations between Armenia and Cyprus.
On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I express heartfelt condolences to the family of former President Tassos Papadopoulos and the friendly people of Cyprus.”
The letter states:
