President visited the international exhibition of arms and defense technologies ArmHaiTech-2016

President Serzh Sargsyan visited today the first international exhibition of arms and defense technologies ArmHaiTech-2016. The exhibition is opened October 13-15 at the Yerevan Expo exhibition complex.

The exhibition was organized based on the decision of the interstate commission on the military and economic cooperation of the CSTO member states and is aimed at displaying high technological, innovative and existing solutions in the area of arms and military equipment production as well as to promote the structural reformation of the military industry of the Republic of Armenia.

In the framework of the ArmHaiTech-2016 exhibition on the display are the latest technological solutions, optical and electronic devises, data transporting systems, samples of the latest weaponry, equipment of the anti-terrorist units, border control systems, drones, etc.

The President of Armenia toured the exhibition, familiarized with the defense technologies, innovative arms designs, and military equipment.
