The Honorary Title of People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia is awarded to theater, cinema, orchestra, stage and circus artists, directors, composers, conductors, choreographers, concertmasters, artistic directors of musical, choir, dance and other groups, musicians and performers for their skills, creation of highly artistic theatrical roles, musical compositions, performances, movies and their immense merit in promotion of arts.
